HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN PHOTOGRAPHING WEDDINGS?
I have been photographing weddings, portraiture and products since 1987. This will be my 21st. year! And I still love it!!
WHAT TYPE OF PHOTOGRAPHY EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?
I use Canon EOS digital SLR cameras, a variety or Canon EOS lenses, Canon Speedlite flash units. I carry backup equipment for everything.
HOW CAN WE BOOK YOUR SERVICES?
One of the first steps would be to contact me to see if your wedding date is available. I am booked rather quickly, but still have dates available in 2009. I only photograph one wedding per date, therefore, the earlier you call and make a reservation, the better your chance that I am available. I have had bookings a year in advance and within a month of a wedding on occasion. After verifying your date is available, a meeting should be scheduled with me so that you can view samples of my work and so that I can explain the contract and packages available to you.
WHAT DO WE NEED TO PROVIDE TO YOU IN ORDER TO RESERVE OUR WEDDING DATE?
A $500 non-refundable reservation fee which will apply to your total package fee and reduce the balance, along with a signed contract to Collier Photo-Graphics. VIEW CONTRACT
ARE YOU THE PHOTOGRAPHER THAT WILL BE PHOTOGRAPHING MY WEDDING?
Yes, I will be the photographer at your wedding. On occasion I do bring along an assistant/2nd photographer but this photographer will only be assisting or taking candid photos and will not be the primary photographer at your wedding.
DO YOU OFFER PACKAGES?
Yes, we offer packages. View Package information CLICK HERE You may also build-your-own package or choose any number and any size of enlargements. We do not require you to purchase an album or enlargements from Collier Photo-Graphics except in some package offers/specials.
WE DON'T WANT TO SEE EACH OTHER BEFORE THE CEREMONY, IS THIS A PROBLEM?
Not at all. We prefer to handle formal and family sessions prior to the ceremony if possible because it tends to provide better results. Make up and hair is fresh, clothes aren’t wrinkled, flowers are fresh, and everyone's more cooperative and attentive. However, we respect your wishes and we can arrange a schedule that will provide great results and fulfill your wishes. We want your day to be everything you dreamed of.
WHAT IS YOUR STYLE OF WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY?
It’s ever evolving but you can expect a blend of candid and posed shots designed to reflect the romance, the emotions, the fun and excitement of your big day.
DO YOU PROVIDE WEDDING ALBUMS?
Yes we offer contemporary flush mount (coffee table book style) albums. We don't tie you into a wedding 'package' where an album is obligatory. Once you've seen your proofs, you may choose the size and type of album, the cover materials, which images you want in it, what size, and I'll do the rest. Additionally we have available a beautiful personalized Guest Book including photos from your engagement session or a custom professional DVD slideshow in a gorgeous leather case. CAN WE VIEW OUR WEDDING PHOTOS ONLINE?
Yes. You can both view and order enlargements online thru Pictage. Your family and friends may register their email address (which is never sold to anyone else) and they will be sent an email notification and password so they can go view and purchase their own enlargements online using their credit card. The orders will be shipped directly to them. How much time and trouble will this save you?
WHAT ABOUT THE COPYRIGHT TO MY WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHS?
An end-user license is included with your wedding package. This gives you limited permission to make your own enlargements, copy your photo disk, post images to your website or blog. We don't require that you order enlargements from us, but we are happy to handle them for you through Pictage if you desire. By the way the quality of Pictage prints is considered the best in the business!
WHEN ARE TRAVELING FEES APPLICABLE?
If we need to travel outside a 25 mile radius of the Twin Ports area, there will be a $50.00 per hour travel fee added to your order. This will be determined at the time of the reservation and indicated on your contract. With 4 hours or more of coverage AND more than 6 hours of drive time, a hotel reservation may be required.
HOW MANY PHOTOGRAPHS WILL YOU TAKE?
I will take as many as are required to capture all the most important moments of the day, including those you won't have noticed happening within the constraints of your coverage/package. A good average is from 40+ images per hour of coverage but this varies. I believe in delivering more than you expect both in quality and quantity.
WHEN WILL WE GET TO SEE OUR PHOTOGRAPHS?
The printed proofs and CD will be ready in about 4 weeks from the date of the wedding. Your images will be released for viewing online at Pictage usually within 10 days of the wedding.
